Mommy Where?

 

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound”. Isaiah 61:1

“And the Lord said: “I have surly seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows…Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel out of Egypt” Ex. 3:7,10.

God is asking you to see and act. Maybe you can’t give much. But give all that you can. Everything is needed, money but mostly constant prayer. Please give through Samaritans Purse or God’s Pit Crew.

Where is our house

My dog

My toys

Where are all the little girls and boys

That used to ride the bus with me

On the way to school?

Why mommy why?

Are the animals all gone?

Did they get washed away in the waters

Trying to swim along?

Why mommy why

Is there no food to eat

I just want my bed

My blankie

And something sweet.

Mommy, mommy I’m afraid

please can’t we go away?

Mommy, mommy I want to sleep,

Will we ever be safe?
