Perfect Peace

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14.  Charlottesville, Virginia, and the nation are troubled, angry, and hurt, over the out of hand protest  on August 13th, 2017 . What started out as a protest resulted in the death (NY Times 2017). When are we safe? When will there be peace?  There is no peace outside of JESUS. In Him is life, in Him is peace. No bandaid method of our own will ever heal the hurt of this terribly broken world.

“He has shown you, O man, what is good;

and what does the LORD require of you

but to do justly,

to love mercy,

and to walk humbly with your God? “Micah 6:8.
